タイガーモブ「世界お仕事アドベンチャー」第1回(DOU Creations) 地球に優しい生活スタイル、ファッションってなんだろう？

第1回のキックオフミーティングはメンバーの顔合わせとテーマの概要説明。ジュニアインターンとして中学生のS君がお母さんと一緒に参加してくれました。今回のテーマは、持続可能な生活スタイルをファッションの観点から考えること。世界一の衣料廃棄大国である日本のファッション産業は、30年後にもたのしく暮らせる社会をつくるためにどう変化させていくべきでしょうか。江戸時代の日本人は大量生産・大量消費をせず、ものを長く大切に使っていました。「江戸の生活を現代の最新技術やプラットフォームで革新させると、大量生産を前提としない全く別の発想ができるのではないか？」、これを考えてくることが次回までの宿題です。

On July 1, 2020, we launched a new internship program for young generations named“World Work Adventure”. Tigermov, the organizer of this event, is on a mission to educate youth by coordinating overseas internship. At the first meeting, interns and organizers introduced themselves and Dai Kichiji, coordinator of this program, gave an overview of the
topic. The theme of this program is to think about sustainable lifestyles in fashion. How should Japan’s fashion industry, the world’s largest landlord of clothing waste, be transformed in to create a sustainable society 30 years later? In the Edo period, 16-19 century in Japan, we Japanese used goods carefully for a long term instead of mass production and mass consumption. Interns were assigned homework to imagine “What happens when Edo lives to be innovated with the latest modern technology and platforms?”
